tips for Booking your Flight at the Best Price

1 - Do your research on the internet:

(Example: cheap flight Paris Bangkok)

Next, take a good look at all the websites that come up and compare prices.

Focus on the best-known and highest-rated websites. These are usually the websites of agencies and tour operators, which offer flights with several different airlines.

Bear in mind that not all websites work with the same airlines, so they won't all offer you the same flights!

2 - Compare prices on different dates , be flexible!

Very often, prices can vary significantly within a two-day period, so once you have found the right website, check the same route one day before and one day after to see if the price is the same!

3 - Check whether the price is the same directly on the airline's website.

When you have found what you think is the best price, check which airline is operating the flight you have chosen and check directly on the airline's website to see if the ticket price is cheaper or offers more benefits (e.g. checked baggage included in the ticket price).

Yes, we often think we've got a bargain with the ticket price we've found, but we're very disappointed to discover later that checked baggage (or even cabin baggage) wasn't included, and the additional cost ends up being higher than if we'd gone through another website!

4 - Don't leave it until the last minute!

In general, the earlier you book your flight, the cheaper it will be! However, don't rush into it either! Try to check prices regularly over a week or two, as they can sometimes drop suddenly depending on supply and demand!

5 - Avoid school holidays if you can!

Airfares increase significantly during the holidays, especially at the beginning, so if you can, travel outside of school holidays, especially those in the Paris region! If you really have to travel during the school holidays, try to leave 1 or 2 days before or return 1 or 2 days after, and aim for the second half of the holidays or the end of the summer, as it will always be cheaper.
